WHAT IS VETERINARY PHYSIOTHERAPY?

Veterinary physiotherapy is a science-based treatment that takes a holistic approach in order to decrease pain, improve mobility, and maximise musculoskeletal and neurological function. In turn, it is used in the treatment and management of various conditions, as well as to decrease the risk of injury and maximise the performance of working/sporting animals. This is always done alongside veterinarians, placing the animal's wellbeing as the top priority.

With extensive knowledge in anatomy and biomechanics, veterinary physiotherapists conduct thorough assessments in order to create a tailored treatment plan for each animal, utilising remedial exercise, electrotherapies, manual therapies, and management advice.
